Bear Creek

Logan and I went to the park today. We have been stuck in the house for the most part and needed a break. Here are a few pictures.

Ouch

Last night with help from a mighty karate kick from Joe, I popped one of the stitches on my nose. Dang that hurt. I'm ok now though. Coco Puffs have mighty healing powers.

Logan is feeling better. We built a tower as tall as he is.

And then we knocked it down.

Doing Good

Logan is down to taking regular Tylenol at irregular intervals and feeling pretty good considering. We went to the store at around noon to, "Get snacks", his idea. Let me tell you he picked out some good stuff: caramel popcorn, Hershey bars, Nerds Ropes, and Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream.

Home

We were released from the hospital around 5:45. Logan was having trouble keeping food and liquids down until around 3:00. It's now around 9:00 and everyone except Joe is exhausted.

Grape Slushy

Logan is awake eating grape slushy and orange jello. He is watching TMNT on demand. Sounds like he's getting ready for a week or two of R&R.

Sleeping

We are in the recovery room. Logan is sleeping and doing ok.

Waiting

We got word that Logan should be done around 11, so now we are just waiting...

Surgery Is Underway

Logan is currently in surgery. The ear tubes were in within about 20 minutes of him being put under. Dr. Ketch is currently working on Logan's nose and lip. The surgery should be done around noon. Below are a couple of pictures of Logan before he went in.

Getting Packed

Today I had to get all packed for my surgery tomorrow morning. We are leaving early (5 in the morning), so we had to make sure we were all ready.

I got stickers. Pirate ones!

And my trusty alligator.

Then I packed lots and lots of clothes

Then I zipped everything up

After that I played in a big box with my little brother.

Before Surgery Close-ups

Logan was eating Go-Gurt and his daddy made him stop for pictures. It was tough to sit still.

Then I decided to stick out my tongue.

This is what I look like before surgery. No telling what I will look like after. Dad thinks I will look like Logan.
